It was in Perth, WA in July 2007 when Marina Bertolino, part of the Berty Button Transport team, was travelling in a real truck covered in jelly beans, called Berty Button.
When the truck stopped at a red traffic light Marina saw the happiest smile and the sheer joy on the face of a small boy who was seeing Berty Button and his brightly coloured jelly beans for the first time.
In that instance Marina realised that she had to do something with the Berty Button fleet of trucks in order to continue to bring smiles to the faces of children all over the world.
