Who Is Berty Button?

Berty Button is a beautiful big DAF truck with a face covered in brightly-coloured jelly beans. With a colourful cabin like that, he really stands out from the crowd!

Berty Button is a strong leader and a good sport. He encourages his team of trucks to be the best they can, to work together towards their goals, and not to let the team down.

Berty is so special he has a whole book series named after him!

Meet Quartez

Quartez is a funny name isn’t it? We’ll tell you more about where that came from in the Berty Button book series.

Before he met Berty Button, Quartez was a scruffy-looking work truck in need of a serious sprucing up. When he joined the team, his engine was serviced and his face was painted in happy-looking jelly beans, just like Berty Button.

Quartez started work carting all sorts of unusual loads from a helicopter to an underwater robot! He tries even harder to hold the fort when Berty Button is far away working on the other side of Australia.

Here Comes Mini-Bert!

Mini Bert jumped at the chance to join the team when he saw Berty Button’s ad for a smaller truck to cart little loads in town. Mini Bert thinks he’s rather clever and sometimes learns his lessons the hard way… by making mistakes!

As Berty says, with all his rushing around Mini Bert is already full of beans, but nevertheless he too receives a colourful cabin of multi-coloured jelly beans so he becomes truly one of the team.

Berty Button decided to call his pint-sized partner Mini Bert because he already looked so much like Berty himself.
